How the calculation works
The body count is rounded to the nearest complete repeat, then edge stitches are added. Rows are rounded to a whole number. The starting chain is the total stitches plus one non-counting turning chain for single crochet.
Worked example
At 20 stitches and 22 rows per 10 cm, a 20 × 20 cm panel with a 2-stitch repeat and no edge stitches has 40 stitches, 44 rows and a 41-chain start.
What this tool covers
This is a rectangular single-crochet planner. It does not model armholes, necklines, garment fit or three-dimensional pieces. Studio panels accept even widths from 2 to 60 stitches and 1 to 40 rows.
Inputs stay in this tab. “Use in a creation” prepares a result for your review in the studio. It does not change an existing creation until you choose Apply.
